Spiritus Blessing and Opening
On 2 December 2022 Loreto Kirribilli’s new centre for innovation, Spiritus, was blessed by Bishop Terence Brady and Sr. Wendy Hildebrand ibvm and officially opened by Ms Sheila McGregor, Loreto Kirribilli Board Chair.
The whole school, along with friends and dignitaries, participated in a wonderful ceremony which began with a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country by Brendan Kerin from Metropolitan Aboriginal Land Council.
Following the formalities, Spiritus was thrown open to families, friends and our Kirribilli neighbours, who were invited to explore the new building and see the dynamic learning spaces at work.
