The host of our 2025 LK Connect industry evening, Women in Advertising - Client Leadership, Strategy, Creative - was ex-student Sally Kissane (’86), CEO of Ogilvy Network ANZ.
Sally’s career spans three decades in the agency world, in both Australia and the U.S.A, across advertising, direct marketing, CRM, digital, and public relations in a variety of management roles.
Under her leadership, Ogilvy has won a range of significant global, regional, and local awards and was last year named Employer of Choice for the seventh year in a row in The Australian Business Awards. She has also introduced several category-breaking initiatives to help foster female leadership including ‘Changing the Face’ and ‘SheCD’ among other talent development programs.
This year Sally was recognised by The CEO Magazine ANZ in their inaugural Women of Influence Spotlight in the lead-up to International Women’s Day.
Speaking at the recent LK Connect event in Ogilvy’s new offices at Barangaroo, Sally counselled her young audience to take up the challenges they are offered. “My advice is to always say yes! Too often we doubt ourselves or think there is someone more deserving.”
