Year 11 student qualifies for World Cup

Playing against India, Lebanon, Japan and Vietnam, the Junior Matildas were successful in their mission of qualifying for the World Cup in Morocco in October. “We are thrilled”, explained Annabelle. “For the first time in Australian u17 history, the Junior Matildas have qualified for the World Cup. We will be playing Spain, Mexico and Chile in Group F.” Annabelle has also been selected for the Future Matildas (u23) program, a regular training squad. Annabelle, we are in awe of your achievements!
