Georgie Drury (’94) entrepreneur, ex-student and Loreto parent, spearheaded the panel with aplomb, setting
the tone for an engaging panel discussion. Our panel of ex-students, Dr. Carla Gillespie (’05), Emily King (’16) and
Evelyn O’Carroll (’19) reinforced key messages around critical thinking, interpersonal skills, language articulation,
and most importantly to ‘back yourself’. The evening also revealed the array of fascinating career opportunities in the
world of health and life sciences, from pharmaceuticals to gene therapy to medical devices.
These events provide inspiration and valuable insight into career possibilities for our current students and continue
to open doors for mentoring and networking, especially for our young alumni. Please contact me if you wish to host
future corporate events.
