Taronga Education Partnership

Taronga Education Partnership

Loreto Kirribilli has entered a formal Education Partnership with Taronga Conservation Society Australia. This partnership marks an important step in bringing our Strategic Vision to life, particularly our commitment to Environmental Stewardship, Social Justice and Community Engagement, and the development of ethical and courageous leadership.

Principal, Dr Nicole Archard explains, "Through this collaboration, our students will be immersed in authentic, real-world learning experiences that inspire them to become informed and active future conservationists.

"As an official Education Partner of Taronga Conservation Society Australia, Loreto Kirribilli students will have access to a wide range of curriculum-aligned and extra-curricular opportunities. Through these experiences, our girls will deepen their understanding of biodiversity, environmental sustainability, and the complex local and global challenges facing our world. Importantly, they will also be encouraged to think critically, act ethically, and see themselves as capable of shaping solutions for the common good.

"This partnership strongly aligns with the Loreto Kirribilli Education Framework, which places students at the centre of Learning, Wellbeing, Mission, and Professional Practice. It will nurture intellectual curiosity, critical and reflective thinking, connection across disciplines, and a deep sense of responsibility, hallmarks of a holistic education in the Mary Ward tradition."
