The year began with great excitement as we opened the doors to a newly-upgraded St Joseph's Building, with fully-refurbished classrooms, a new Senior School Reception and Health Care Centre, and integrated lockers and breakout areas for students.
The upgrade has transformed the old corridors and classrooms into larger, brighter spaces for learning. The Principal, Dr Nicole Archard, firmly believes in 'the positive impact of beautiful spaces on students’ wellbeing and learning', and she was on hand, with parents, friends, and senior staff, to share the excitement of the girls as they made themselves at home in their new 'J Block'. Thank you to BVN Architecture, Baseline projects, Northrop, JHA and Cunneen, and we extend our gratitude to the Loreto Kirribilli Building Committee, led by Anthony Elias.
At the end of term, the Principal, Dr Nicole Archard, invited the architects, engineers, builders, members of the P&F, and the Building Committee for an informal tour of the renovations, an opportunity to acknowledge the many people who contributed to the project, and celebrate the competition of this significant upgrade.
