In the first event of its kind, Loreto Global Voices - London brought together far-flung alumnae from Loreto Ballarat, Coorparoo, Kirribilli, Marryatville, Normanhurst and Toorak, for an enjoyable evening of engagement and connection.
The event was hosted by Westpac, London, in their beautiful head office in the City of London. Our thanks to Andrew Martin, Regional Head UK, Head of FM E&A, Westpac, for not only hosting the event but also making sure every guest felt welcomed.
Facilitated by Joanne Sawicki (Kirribilli ’78), the panel featured representatives from each school, and these Loreto women revealed the course of their fascinating careers in roles as diverse as digital advertising, Formula 1 management, refugee law and forensic medicine. In every story we heard the desire to make a difference and leave the world a better place.
Dr Nicole Archard, Principal of Loreto Kirribilli in Sydney, attended the event with the other Principals of Loreto Schools Australia. In her closing remarks, she wove a narrative around our schools, in the context of Mary Ward’s, Teresa Ball’s and Gonzaga Barry’s legacy.
