Professor Jane M. Andrews is a distinguished Australian healthcare leader with more than 25 years’ experience transforming gastroenterology care. As Clinical Professor Jane has overseen system reform, digital innovation, and patient-centred models of care. She combines a deep clinical expertise in gastroenterology with governance and non-profit leadership.

Jane’s special interests include inflammatory bowel disease, functional gastrointestinal disorders, quality of life and psychological comorbidity, gender issues in healthcare delivery, health system design and digital innovation.

Recognised for delivering high-impact programs at scale, Jane has been instrumental in shaping national and international standards, and leading multidisciplinary teams across health, research, and innovation.

She co-developed the Crohn’s Colitis Care digital platform, now supporting more than 16,000 patients across Australia and New Zealand.
