A reminder that teams who finished 3rd or 4th must win their semi-final match in order to progress through to the finals next week. Teams who finished 1st or 2nd have the opportunity to go straight through to the grand final on either Friday, 2 or Saturday, 3 September if they win, or in the event of a loss will contest the final on either Friday, 26 or Saturday, 27 August.
All teams must be presented at the Administration Desk at least half and hour before the start of the game.
Parents and Spectators during the finals series
All players and coaches would greatly appreciate having as many spectators as possible along to support them during the three weeks of the finals series. Student spectators should come in their full winter uniform or sports uniform. All matches are held at Bicentennial Reserve, Small St, Willoughby.
Some reminders about spectator behaviour;
- As a courtesy to all players on the court we do not call out when a team is shooting for a goal.
- All spectators should stand back from the sideline and out of the way of the umpires. Spectators are not permitted to stand on the base line of a court.
- No dogs, scooters, bikes, rollerblades or chairs between courts are permitted.
- At no stage do we make any comments about the umpires or their umpiring.
- At no stage do we approach the umpires.
- At all times we should act in a manner that shows respect for the opposition and officials.
