Tell us your story!
To honour Loreto Kirribilli’s 110-year anniversary in 2018, a cookbook is being produced filled with inspirational stories and recipes from students, parents, teachers and friends of our school community. The Parents & Friends Association, in conjunction with the Development Office, will publish a contemporary hardcover, full gloss cookbook.Drawing on Mary Ward’s ethos of support and friendship, the book will emphasise the importance of food in our lives whilst celebrating people who inspire us.
The LKCB (Loreto Kirribilli Cookbook) committee has been busy behind the scenes gathering, sharing and getting quite excited as the themes of the project come together. Of course, central to any cookbook is generosity and creativity which we will have in abundance. What will set our book apart will be the stories you submit honouring special people in your life. We look forward to reading your wacky, heart-felt or laugh out loud tributes and recipes.
Please submit recipes that reflect the passion and joy which comes from the simple gift of cooking, together with an accompanying story praising an extraordinary person who has touched your life.Your dish might be a treasured family favourite or a recipe that has become a new tradition for you and your loved ones.
