Gifted and Talented: Parent Lectures and Courses at UNSW
The University of New South Wales offers a range of support for parents of gifted and talented students, including lectures and courses. This year these include:
- Parent Public Lecture Series – Parenting a Gifted Child: What Supports or Hinders Talent Development? by Dr Susen Smith at Matraville High School on 22 March. Free registration available at here.
- Parent Courses: these courses at UNSW last for two days, and cover a range of topics including identification, socio-emotional needs, perfectionism and parenting strategies. This year, dates include the 11 and 12 April, and the 27 and 28 September. You can register at here.
