Unfortunately due to Mother Nature and the dreadful weather we have had this term, we have not played a lot of matches due to ground closures. This has been disappointing for all. Let’s hope we can finish the season with some clear days.

For our first year in Waterpolo the girls have performed very well in both the IGSSA competition in Term 4 and the UNSW competition in Term. I would like take this opportunity to thank our two coaches who have given the girls some great experiences. A very big thank you to Mr Chris Hook and Mr Chris Carroll for all their time, energy and enthusiasm. We look forward to hopefully fielding more teams in Term 4 this year.
The competition is due to commence on Friday, 31 March and Saturday, 1 April. Training sessions will commence next week. Can I please ask that if your daughter is unable to make a match or training that an email is sent to Mrs Inches and Miss Clancy. Can you please include in the email your daughter’s full name and team number. All girls need to attend their training sessions and matches and should not be missing these sessions unless they are sick.
A reminder that jewellery is not permitted, this includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces and watches. Finger nails are not permitted to be taped so please make sure they are short and rounded.
Important Dates – We have games on the 7&8 April, and also 23&24 June as well as the first Friday & Saturday of Term 1&2 holidays.
A reminder to save the dates for the NSW Interschools Snowsports Championships at Thredbo and have your accommodation booked for the 10–15 July.
More information will be posted on CH@LK next week along with registration forms. The camp is open to all students in Years 8–12. Please be aware that selection is made using a ballot system and is not guaranteed to any students except Year 12 and the Snowsport Captains. The numbers will depend entirely on the number of staff attending as we need to meet our staff/student ratio. We cater for students who have never seen snow before and never skied to advanced. Registration for the camp will be required by the end of term.
