Sport and recreation are important ingredients for our holistic wellness. You don’t have to be an Olympic gold medallist to experience the benefits of sport. While each Loreto student may have different sporting objectives or goals, the key ingredient is participation.
Participation is the enabler to the achievement of outcomes and being the best we can be.
The Athletics Carnival is a great opportunity for our school to participate in the long-standing sporting tradition at Loreto.
The Loreto Spirit was truly alive and well at the Athletics Carnival. Lead by House Captains and Vice Captains, our girls cheered and encouraged others to ‘have a go’, do their best and enjoy the experience.
Congratulations to those who received medals and trophies and well done to all of our girls who participated and helped in the running of the carnival.
Many thanks to Ms Baker and the PDHPE staff for running another successful carnival.
“Women in time will come to do much”, long live Loreto athletics and the Loreto Spirit.
