This is our vision: that Loreto schools offer a Catholic education which liberates, empowers and motivates students to use their individual gifts with confidence, creativity and generosity in loving and responsible service.

A range of extra-curricular activities are offered to students according to their age and interests. These include:

  • Sporting teams and competitions such as athletics, dancing, hockey, netball, taekwondo, tennis, basketball, cricket, cross country, rowing, softball, snowsports, swimming, touch football and volleyball
  • Music lessons and ensembles
  • The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
  • Debating, Public Speaking and Mock trial
  • Social Justice groups
  • Art and Photography groups
  • Groups and competitions for academic enrichment
  • Inter House Competitions including the Music Festival
  • Snowsports Camp for Years 8-11
  • All extra-curricular activities operate outside the timetable of the school day

Co-curricular activities at Loreto refer to those activities which also lead to the increased personal and spiritual development of the students, and arise from the core learning experiences of the school. These include:

  • Orientation days
  • Camps for Years 5, 6 and 7
  • Year 11 Retreat
  • Year 12 Retreat
  • Junior School Music Concert
  • Immersion
