  The program is voluntary and is aimed at encouraging the girls to develop self-reliance, initiative and a sense of responsibility. There are three awards: Bronze - Year 9 Silver - Year 10 Gold - Year 11/12 Within each award there are four sections: Service - to develop a sense of community and responsibility to others Expeditions - to encourage a spirit of adventure Skills - to encourage the development of personal interests and practical skills Physical Recreation - to encourage participation in physical recreation and improvement in performance. Residential Project (Gold level only). Cost $35 which covers the Record Book and insurance. Parental Involvement The expeditions provide an opportunity for parents to supervise the girls on their 2, 3 or 4 day expeditions and generally encourage their daughters to complete their award. |
