The Rolling Capital Appeal and other Major Gifts/Capital Appeals are the main philanthropic projects managed by the Development Office. Gifts to these campaigns support new building projects, improvements to the grounds and the purchase of new equipment, as well as directly supporting particular subject areas. The Development staff also provide advice and assistance to organisations within the school community such as the Parents and Friends Association and Ex-Students' Union in their endeavours to support Loreto Kirribilli through their various fundraising activities. We value these connections and foster the development of such relationships across the school community. In order to keep up with these constant needs and the rapid changes associated with curriculum-driven demands, we need and value your support. The generosity of most families across the school over the years has resulted in excellent facilities, maintained to the highest standards for the benefit of students and staff. Further information is available by contacting the Loreto Kirribilli Development Office. We welcome your donations, no matter how small or large, at any time you are able to contribute. Please contact development@loreto.nsw.edu.au or phone (02) 9957 4722 and ask for the Development Manager for further details. The inclusion of Loreto Kirribilli in your Will is a lasting and wonderful way to contribute to the ongoing legacy of Mary Ward and to maintain your link with the educational philosophy of the Loreto Sisters. Loreto Kirribilli’s excellence today is due in no small part to the generosity of past generations and we urge you to consider this option for the benefit of future students at Loreto, just as the Heaton family did, by generously helping with the purchase of “Elamang” in 1907. Many other individuals and families since have assisted in this way, contributing to the acquisition of land and the development of buildings that make Loreto the excellent centre of learning it is today. Some suggested wording for a Bequest to Loreto Kirribilli can be found in the LK Bequest Intention Document and may help you in the preparation of your Will. It is recommended that you seek legal advice before preparing such a document and there are many solicitors associated with the school who would be happy to assist. Should you wish to advise the school of your intentions, your private information would be held in the utmost confidence. The joy of divulging this information prior to its implementation would give us the opportunity to thank you during your lifetime. |
